Gift ticket validation
Gift (or Complimentary) Tickets must be validated online at Jegymester by booking the date and time of your visit..
Validation is required at least two weeks before the exhibitions’ closing date. Unvalidated tickets will not be accepted for other exhibitions. Please do not make copies of the ticket(s).
Gift Ticket validation: to validate a Gift Ticket visit Jegymester under "Validate gift ticket" section on the left side of the main page, and follow the steps to book the date and time .
The ticket appearing at the end of validation process is for direct admission. Please print your ticket and check its printing quality: the barcode and letter code must be clearly visible in its original size. Tickets can be printed at any given time from the section "Personal data" following "My purchases".
Ticket validation can also be requested at the Information Desk of the Museum in advance or upon your arrival. Please note that entry can only be ensured if free places are available. In any case, we can not accept complaints regarding this matter.
Combined tickets allow visitors to enter the Museum only once.
The “Éves jegy” (Yearly Blank Ticket) can be validated and used for one exhibition of your choice until the end of the year.
Gift Ticket cannot be validated for Museum+ programs.
Please arrive to the Museum within the selected time slot. Should you need to have your ticket validated at the Museum, you should arrive by 4 pm at the latest.
For popular exhibitions visitors who arrive with printed tickets will have priority to enter the museum. The entry to the exhibition, however, is on the “first- come first-served” basis. To avoid inconveniences, it is recommended that you arrive with small bags only (max size: 30x40 cm).
The Museum is open Tuesday – Sunday between 10 am – 6 pm. Before your visit please check the Museum’s website (www.mfab.hu) for any unforeseen changes. The opening hours may change due to security reasons or high level of visitors. The temporary exhibitions can be visited until 5.50 pm, while the permanent exhibitions are open until 5.30 pm.
