Non-Hungarian Student Groups
Free entry for organized school groups of students (up to age 26) to the Permanent Exhibitions has been terminated. Visitors from the European Economic Area* under age of 26 are qualified for 50 % discount entry for both the permanent and temporary exhibitions. From 15 persons +5% group discount is applicable to the temporary exhibitions.
Please check 'Admission' for ticket prices and other details of discount tickets. Tickets purchased for the temporary exhibitions are also valid for the permanent exhibitions on the same day only.
Teachers of elementary and secondary schools (if citizens of the EEA region) are qualified for free admission with teacher ID validated to the acual term that can be visably checked on that card. We suggest to have international teacher card issued by ITIC. Groups from other regions need to purchase full price tickets, and are qualified for group discount to temporary exhibitions from 15 persons.
Teachers and professors lecture their class in the permanent collections only if they request permission in advance, and they will receive a guest badge at the Information Desk. In temporary exhibitions such a permission can not be requested.
