Museum Rules

Please respect the following rules during your visit:

It is prohibited to touch works of art. Visitors are required to keep a distance of at least 20 cm from objects on display.
Food and drink are not permitted in the galleries.

CLOAKROOM:
The use of the cloakroom is free of charge and obligatory for all backpacks being worn at back, for any bags and packages exceeding 30×40x20 cm, for umbrellas and coats not being worn. Please do not leave your tickets and ID qualifying you for a discount in the cloakroom, since it may be checked at the exhibition entrance.
It is forbidden to take food, drink, pets, plants, dangerous objects or toys into the galleries. Pets cannot be left in the cloakroom.
For your personal belongings small linen bags can be borrowed and lockers are available free of charge at the lower level.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO: Photography for personal use is permitted in the halls and the galleries of the permanent exhibition with a purchased photo or video ticket. Flash photography, monopods and tripods are not permitted. Taking photos or video is prohibited at the temporary exhibitions including the use of video cameras and cell phones with camera.

CELL PHONES: Please consider others, mute your cell phone and avoid calls in the galleries.

BABIES: Babies can be brought into the exhibitions in strollers or in front-facing baby carriers. For safety reasons, back carriers or other ways are not allowed. Strollers are allowed if they are in use and not folded.

TOUR GUIDE: Only the Museum’s trained guides may offer tours in the Museum.

CLOSING: Visitors are kindly asked to leave all galleries of temporary exhibitions 10 minutes before closing time, in order to allow time for collecting valuables from the cloakroom.

SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited in the museum including the portico, and within the 5 meter distance in front of the fence. Electronic cigarettes are not allowed in the building.
