Guided Tours
Trained guides of the Museum of Fine Arts can provide to both individual visitors and groups during museum opening hours from 10 am to 5.30 pm. The last time slot for a tour is 4.30 pm. If you would like to arrange a guided tour, please submit your request at least one week in advance.
Please note that only the Museum's trained guides booked through the Education Department may offer tours in the Museum of Fine Arts. Tours are offered in Hungarian, English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish.
Exceptions
• In cases when the Museum cannot provide a tour in the desired language, travel agency guides may interpret a Hungarian tour with prior authorization of the Education Department.
• Teachers and professors may request permission in advance to lecture their class in the permanent collections, and they will receive a guest badge at the Information Desk.

For tours arranged until 19 February fees are payable as valid at the time of request submission disregarding to the date of the tour.
Free Guided Tours
The volunteer guides of the Docent Programme offer visitors free guided tours in English and in Hungarian in the Old Masters’ collection.
Please note: An admission fee is charged to all visitors.
There are no free guided tours available in the temporary exhibitions.
