One of the greatest and undisputed museum successes in Europe in recent years was the exhibition in Paris titled Allegro Barbaro–Béla Bartók and Hungarian Modernity 1905–1920. Through our conversation with the two Hungarian curators and a musicologist as well as with the help of some projected pictures we will present the exhibition to everybody who did not have the chance to see this highly successful Hungarian show blending several branches of art at one of the world’s most important exhibition venues – and indeed to those who saw the show but would like to know more about it.
Participants

Gergely
Barki and Zoltán Rockenbauer - historians and the curators of the exhibition
László
Vikárius - music historian, the director of the Bartók Archives at the Institute for Musicology, Hungarian Academy of Sciences
