Classical heroes in the Museum of Fine Arts

The following exhibitions can be visited at the Museum of Fine Arts during the Long Night of Museums: Temporary Exhibition Documentarist of female beauty: Helmut Newton 1920–2004 Due to the layout of the gallery and issues of security a maximum of 400 visitors per hour can be admitted to our exhibition Helmut Newton 1920–2004. We kindly ask your patience for any potential queuing for the exhibition.
Permanent collection – Classical Antiquities, Old Master Paintings (Italian, Spanish, French, British, Netherlandish and Dutch painting) and Art after 1800.

Entry with the Long Night of Museums wristband from 4.30 pm.

Exchanging pre-purchased tickets to wristbands: on 22 June, from 4.30 pm
From 15 June wristbands can be purchased at the museum's ticket desk.
For adults: HUF 1500
For children: HUF 600 (between 6-18 years of age)
Free for children under 6 years.
Please note that no other commissions are valid on this occasion!

To ensure the protection of artworks the number of participants in the programmes is limited. Visitors are admitted in order of arrival.
Expected time of last entry (also for those with wristbands): 1 am. We reserve the right to change programmes.In the event of galleries reaching maximum capacity opening times may be modified for purposes of security.
(On the following day, Sunday, 23 June, the Museum can be visited between 12 am - 6 pm.)

Lecture on Roman gastronomy by Gabriella Kohári archaeologist with food-tasting based on classical recipes.
9 pm – 10 pm Jesus Christ Superstar as a form of “lay theology”
Talk by Dániel Siptár, church historian

The adventures of Mr Fox – Interactive programme for children with music and puppets, based on the fables of Aesop (Színházikó)
