The Museum Education Department offers a wide range of educational activities and materials for adults, teenagers and children. Staff members provide guided tours and hold workshops in the Museum's permanent collection as well as for temporary exhibitions.
The visit consists of two parts. First the students explore works of art connected with the topic in the gallery. This is followed by a creative art session in the studio. We offer class visits in a variety of topics.
After fixing a date for the event, a museum educator will phone you to find out what topic would be best. After a topic has been chosen, the museum educator chooses works from the permanent collection as well as games and activities suitable for the age of the group. The activities allow the participants to discover the works of art for themselves in a fun and relaxing environment. After visiting the gallery, the guests return to the studio to create some art of their own.
